PENNY MACCALLUM

Penny MacCallum holds a Master’s in Music from Boston University and has been teaching private piano lessons on the North Shore for the past twenty years. Prior to opening her studio, she taught music in Public schools ages k-12 for over twenty-five years. She’s an active member of the North Shore Piano Teacher’s Guild and several of her students have gone on to major in piano performance. In addition to teaching music, Penny has also served as a music director for various theatre productions in Massachusetts (Neverland Theatre Company) as well as the music Director for “Blue Hair Troupe” (also through Neverland Theatre Company) which ran at the Tremont Theatre in Boston. She co-founded and ran Neverland Camp for the Performing Arts and has coached several students in preparation for vocal auditions. She specializes in working with children dealing with Dyslexia and Autism and has been quoted un multiple publications on this topic.
